Where has Clint been?

Well I decided when I got back from Utah to take the month off cycling as well as bloging. The masters program I am in requires a lot of time and with the new baby on the way I had to make room some place to get ready for her. That time came every Saturday morning except one for the last month and (I’m crossing my fingers here) I think we have every thing ready for her to be here. By the way we decide on a name for the wee child, Dagny Ayn Hosman, I’ll give anyone who reads this a bright shinny nickel if they guess where her first and middle name come from.
I have been busy working out though in different ways. My office has a gym so myself and some friends have been lifting as well as doing plyometrics which as it turns out kick ass. I have been focusing on the weak spots such as the back, arms and wrists, all those places that break down after 4 hours of mountain bike racing. I’m up to 180 pounds as well, that’s the most I have ever weighed and I have to say its pretty cool looking into the mirror and seeing muscle on the upper body. I don’t get too used to it however because in 6 months after lots of training hours on the bike most of it will be gone and I’ll be back down to 165-170.
At any rate I’m back to it full time this week with the bike and the gym, my fall races will be hit and miss as Dagny should be coming some time in October and I’ll adjust my schedule accordingly. The pics are from a hike Travis and I didn last week up north.
